As many of you probably know, Silverlight released yesterday and is now an official 1.0 product.  What some of you may not have seen is we also announced that we actually worked with the Novell Mono guys to help get "Moonlight" - aka Silverlight on Linux using Mono - out the door.  The phrase used in a CNET article was, "Microsoft released Silverlight 1.0 on Tuesday and said it has partnered with Novell to deliver a Linux version of the software."  WOW!

Just a few of the sites that are Silverlight enabled already:

  • Home Shopping Network
  • Entertainment Tonight
  • World Wide Wrestling Entertainment
  • Break.com
  • Major League Baseball
