Shawn Burke is going to go tilt with windmills in Redmond. More power to him. Since I am a part of Microsoft's efforts to get closer to the grass roots community and create via programs what open source tends to do on its own, I am all for things like what Shawn is proposing. Slick marketing, free food, and .NET Sex Symbol tours can only do so much. At some point, you have to put up or shut up.
